Curriculum Vitae
Michelle Kwok’s interests reside at the intersections of teacher education and literacy instruction. Her passion is empowering teachers to use literacy instruction as a means of providing equitable education opportunities. She is also dedicated to teaching teachers how to use literacy in the service of teaching their content area.

Currently, she is leading a project on on preservice teachers' beliefs on literacy and equitable instruction, diverse text choices, and identities. She also leads a project investigating how linguistics can be used in teaching math word problems.
