Dr. Luis Ponjuán is a tenured faculty member, researcher, and public policy scholar in the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University. He earned his Ph.D. in Education (Higher Education Administration) with concentrations in advanced quantitative methods, evaluation and assessment, and organizational psychology from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. His faculty career spans two AAU SEC institutions, Texas A&M University and the University of Florida. He is a bilingual speaker and a first-generation college graduate.
