Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Glenda Rose is the Director of the Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy and Learning, TCALL, at Texas A&M University. She began her adult education career in 1985 as a volunteer tutor, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of literacy, and began her first paid position in 1987. Dr. Rose has worked at all levels of AEL from volunteer to program director. She has taught ESL, ESL for ITPs, TOEFL prep, HSE, English with Spanish GED Prep, and various IETs. She is passionate about helping adult literacy teachers, administrators, and staff grow in their professional practice with a goal of helping adult learners achieve their personal and professional dreams.
