Academic Appeals
College of Education and Human Development

Students who wish to appeal an academic dismissal or university suspension may submit an appeal through this portal. You may appeal if you believe that circumstances beyond your control, such as a serious or extended illness, injury, or other significant event that adversely affected your academic performance.

Your appeal will include:
  1. A justification essay explaining the circumstances that prevented you from being academically successful this semester.
  2. Neutral, third party documentation supporting your explanation (uploaded as PDF files).
